Adoption of cloud services has evolved rapidly, and AI is now being deeply integrated into business operations. In particular, AI has accelerated and intensified cloud adoption, pushing organizations to make faster decisions and adopt new technologies more quickly than ever before.
These trends demand a comprehensive analysis and planning methodology to guide decision-making while avoiding waste and cost inflation. To address these demands, the Open Alliance for Cloud Adoption (OACA) has developed a new Cloud Maturity Infographic based on our Cloud Maturity Model (CMM) to help organizations quickly evaluate their current position and identify potential course corrections.
The Infographic is an interactive assessment and roadmapping tool that focuses on a minimum critical subset of cloud maturity control questions and continuums. It is designed to help business and technology leaders quickly identify gaps and prioritize next steps. Slide 2 of the deck includes a short video demonstrating these navigation capabilities, allowing users to select a specific pillar or discipline, review relevant control questions, and explore the associated cloud maturity continuum in more detail.
To support rapid assessment and discussion, the Cloud Maturity Infographic is available as a standalone download:

We are also pleased to release an updated version of the Cloud Maturity Model (CMM) Questionnaire Version 4.10, which represents the full and comprehensive model from which the Infographic is derived.
Key Updates in Version 4.10:
OACA CMM Analysis Questionnaire (Excel)
- Control Question Reference Identifiers We’ve added a control question reference identifier for each CMM control question so they can be easily referenced in the infographic and the CMM questionnaire. We intend for these identifiers to be evergreen across future releases of the CMM. The identifier consists of Domain #, P, R, or T (for P = People, R = Process, and T = Technology), and an ordinal representing the question number within that area.
For example, “27.P.2” is the second People question in the 27th domain (AI Models).
- Updated Control Questions and Maturity Continuums: OACA contributors have refined the control questions and continuum descriptions for the 52 control questions curated for the Infographic.
Cloud Maturity Model Usage Manual (PDF)
- The accompanying Cloud Maturity Model Usage Manual (PDF) includes these updates:
- CreativeCommons licensing aligned with the Linux Foundation’s current guidance
- Removal of outdated information
- Identify the contributors to this version.
